3. Assiniboine Lodge, Canada’s Oldest Backcountry Ski Lodge
Assiniboine Lodge was Canada’s eldest backcountry ski lodge. Situated the Mount Assiniboine Provincial playground when you look at the stunning British Columbia’s hills, the lodge will be the ultimate adventure escape for skiers inside wintertime and hikers in the summer. The house or property has become available, after a substantial repair led by BC Parks. Initially built-in 1928 because of the Canadian Pacific Railway because basic ski lodge in Canadian Rockies, the lodge’s foundation started to fail.
